A large diameter  sphere (150 mm) expands the 2D projection of an apple into the third dimension.
The two components in combination provide special spatial and visual  qualities.
The sphere recalls the rotational volume of a shape endowed with autonomous symbolic properties.
The primary simplicity of an apple, natural and innocent, split off from the geometrical model by abstraction: the geometrical model is however exhibited, as if descended reversibly upon the matter.
The work appears to turn upside-down the René Magritte Magritte point of wiew (ceci n'est pas une pipe):  realism-art, however accurate it might be, never does catch the item itself; like that, the geometrical model can be interpreted as a certain item by an experienced eye.
APPLE is made of stainless steel.
It can be used as a coat hook and a hut holder.
